I'm so sorry. I have a friend that is dating a girl that he settled for for the same reason. I don't even talk to that friend anymore because it disgusts me to see him lie to her and pretend like she's perfect. It's incredibly messed up and no one deserves it. I hope you dumped him. Go find someone who really thinks that you are amazing.
