The biohazard downstairs

Today, I’ve lived in my apartment for more than five years and never had more than the occasional housefly. Three months after I got new downstairs neighbors I’ve been hit with a massive roach infestation, and they decided to bring their lovely ant friends with them. FML

Your new neighbors may have had their place treated for bugs after moving in, so have yours treated and the bugs will move elsewhere.

Unlikely that your neighbours brought bugs with them. Changing conditions can cause a surge in ant and roach populations… a recent fumigation, the apartment downstairs having been empty for a length of time and now being newly occupied.
