Today, I pulled a prank on my friend by making a fake Tinder profile just to catfish him. All our friends came to make fun of him, only to realise that he'd stood me up. Turns out, never showing for first dates is his way of playing hard to get. Now everyone is laughing at me. FML

Today, my crush let me know that he has a prom date. Obviously I'm supportive because I just want him to be happy, even if it's not me. I have a feeling I'll ace the next test, professor. But seriously, it's a terrible joke, if it even qualifies for a joke. Maybe he was trying to get a first "date" with OP, but he was too shy to ask her. I don't know, that reasoning would even be a stretch.

You agreed to it. Being asked is FYL worthy; going along makes it YDI. If you had a crush for 4 years and haven't done anything about it, I think you should move on already. If you don't make the effort or take the initiative you don't deserve the reward.
