Step brothers

Today, my stepson hit my biological son with a belt. When I demanded to know why, it turned out that my son destroyed his (stepson's) laptop while raging over his stupid video game. My husband is completely mortified and I have no idea who to be more mad at. FML

be equally mad at them both...your son for destroying things that aren't his (expensive things at that) and your stepson for taking matters into his own hands and hitting your son. stepson should have brought it to you and his dad and let you handle it.

While Stepson may have overreacted, the destroyer of the laptop is the real problem. If he doesn’t learn to separate games from reality and learn how to deal with anger he’s going to have a miserable life and make the people around him dislike him. That is your #1 problem. … He needs consequences from this or it’s only going to get worse.
