Today, I decided to visit my dad. I haven't seen him in a while so I wanted to give him another chance to be an actual dad to me. Apparently, getting drunk and getting it on with his girlfriend while I was there was more important than spending time with his daughter, who he hasn't seen in almost a year. FML

There is just sooo much to unpack from that statement. Sorry OP, your family is ****** up. Then again, I can tell similarly ****** up stories about mine and my wife’s. Sorry you have such a shitty father. Maybe cutting him out of your life altogether would be ideal. At this point, I’m estranged from my entire family because of their wreckless and selfish actions. My wife cut hers off for similar reasons. We are happier not having to constantly deal with crazy and stupid on a repeating basis.
