Lost in the sauce

Today, I started to give a 30-minute presentation about environmental sustainability. When I'd finished what I though was a powerful introduction, I was informed that I was in the wrong conference room, speaking to a group of what appeared to basically be a bunch oil barons. FML

Well, I'd say those are the people you want to reach. Why preach to the choir while the rest of the congregation sins?

Sounds like you got lucky. Usually those type of people will not invite a talk about the subject. And you got to talk to the people who can actually make a difference.
