Wow, it must be nice to live a perfect, mistake-proof existance where nothing bad ever happens to you. Like OP, I barely passed high school and was in an abusive relationship. From the outside it looked like I was making poor choices, but on the inside I was severely depressed, suffering from ptsd from CSA and years of abuse at home. I left home for my own safety only to end up in a worse situation. Nearly 20 years later, I am thriving, my mental health is in check, I am set to graduate college with a 3.9, and I have a great partner of over 10 years. Don't judge a book by its cover. OP, hang in there, life gets better.
