FAIL! I'm 19 I live with my parents because owning a home in Miami is really expensive. Though I have been paying rent since I was 14 years old... But there are times when I leave to go out on a Friday night and don't get home till Sunday afternoon... All my mom did was give me a bag and said "If you're gonna be out for a few days at a time, I got you a toothbrush and deoderant, just pick out some clothes so you can at least change while you're out..."

Haha 84, that's awesome. Sounds like something my mom would do. :P She's pretty much like, "Well, you're an adult, you have the house key if you come home late. Just don't get into trouble because I'm not gonna bail you out of jail. Like I said, you're an ADULT, so that's kind of your own problem. Have a good time!"

I also work in retail. I've worked in retail for a long time. Last year I lived on my own. I had plenty of income. I make more an hour than most of the people I work with because of my experience. That doesn't amount to much when in one week you get NINE hours. Luckily my hours are starting to go up and I will be moving out next month. But still, not everyone is fortunate enough to even have a job right now. Have some compassion. Besides that, you probably live somewhere where minimum wage is higher than it is here.

Please say that you live apart from your parents. And that they found out you came home at 1am and called to yell at you..because if you actually live with your parents at 30, then it's definitely fyl. And you deserved the yelling, because you should respect the rules that your parents set for you. Respect your home, respect your parents.
