Some people live with family members to make rent more affordable and thus make the house everyone's. Me personally I live with 5 other members of my family because none of us could afford a proper place on our own despite all but 1 of us having an income. We just do not know the OP's situation to determine if it is "pathetic" to the internet trolls. Furthermore living with family is not pathetic if everyone agrees to how it will work in advance. Perhaps her parents should treat the OP more like the adult she is in all manners, including making her pay for rent, food etc if she isn't already. If she is then they need to either stop being so strict about something so silly as a curfew or lay down the "rules" ahead of time so she knows.
