Today, my narcissistic bitch of a mother did nothing but yell at me, crying about how much we are hurting her in front of a large group of family and friends. We are moving because I got my dream job and can finally afford to buy a house. FML.

Move anyway. Move as far away as you possibly can. Don't give a forwarding address, change your numbers, get new social media accounts, get a new email address, take her off any legal or medical forms, check your belongings as you pack them to make sure there aren't any microphones; cameras, or GPS trackers. And have the paperwork for a restraining order as filled out as you can. When it comes to Narcissists- particularly true, medically diagnosed narcissists- there is no such thing as overkill when it comes to going no contact on them. Seriously, just pretend she's dead- hold a mini-funeral if you really feel the need, just ignore her forever.
