Today, my mother started fostering a child to make some money. I wouldn't have a problem with this if she didn't make me babysit the kid and take him to and from school every day because she's "too busy". I work full-time and she's unemployed. FML

I'm not sure how this works, but it sounds like she fostered the kid for benefits or some sort of allowance and isn't actually looking after them. I admit I don't know the laws about this stuff, but I feel like this is fraud and neglect.

the UK is insane regarding foster care... i used to see the banners in the parks: 'are you over 21? become a foster parent and receive 2000 pounds a month!' no conditions, no requirements. i mean... what kind of people are you trying to attract?

Today, I realised that I wasted my teenage life just to be a parent pleaser. I'm in the final months of high school and while everyone is enjoying the last days, I'm sat here being a "good" son, listening to my parents argue, maybe divorcing. Today, I got questioned by the police. Last night I was at a party when a bully of a kid who happened to be an aspiring MMA coach and local fighter was picking on me, stole my alcohol and threw me out of the party. I heard he got stabbed by someone else he was picking on after I left. The police insist it was me. FML
