Today, my brother babysat for me. He invited his girlfriend around without me knowing, and they were all playing hide and seek together. While he and his girl were hiding, they decided to have a quickie. My three year old found them and saw everything. She won't stop copying their sex noises. FML

Well imo, teaching your kids about sex shouldn't involve you having sex in front of them. This situation was in no way a proper manner to "teach a child" anything. If one of my brothers did this, I'd be furious. First of all for inviting someone without permission (family or not, you don't just invite others without asking, ESPECIALLY if you were invited to do a job: babysit), secondly for not having the self control to wait a day, and thirdly for not having the brains to realize what could possibly happen if you have sex during a game of hide-and-seek when you know the three-year-old is actively searching for you. Also, while I agree with you that kids should learn about sex early (like before primary, imo), it's ultimately up to the parents to decided when. It's no one elses business to teach OP's kids about such an important matter without their consent, regardless of whether 3-years of age is the "proper time" to teach her. Who's to say the parents weren't properly planning a very reasonable way to teach her within a few years?
