Today, I was convinced by my friends to watch an episode of the American TV show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo". They said it was bad, but I didn't anticipate having a full-blown panic attack ten minutes into it. FML

I'm American, and I like Honey Boo Boo. The show obviously has no intellectual value. It's supposed to be funny and entertaining - which I think it accomplishes. I can understand not liking the show or not wanting to watch it. But I really don't get why people hate on it and constantly negate the show - ok, you don't like it! Get over it! The show doesn't represent America at all. And as someone who comes from a Southern family, the only thing real about that family is their accents.

I really wish I could say all of America isn't that bad, but get into the generation of those born in 2000-2008ish and it really is horrifying.
