Today, I accidentally killed a plant belonging to my mother-in-law. Yesterday, she told me that it was her father's, and keeping it alive since his death has been like keeping her father alive. FML

CORRECTION: I reread it. Even though you did know about it, every plant has different needs. You most likely didn't know how to tend to this one's needs. I've killed a few plants because of that myself.
