Today, at my job as a cashier, a man and his 3-year old son got in line. The father said, "Give this to the pretty lady," looking at me. The kid looks at me, looks at his dad, and walks over to the next cashier. FML

Today, I was at work handling the cash register. It wasn't working correctly, so I apologized to the woman I was waiting on for the delay and explained, "The cash register's being a little retarded today." Then I noticed her clearly "special" adult son standing behind her. FML

Today, while cashiering, I rang out a father and his son who looked about eight years-old. The dad jokingly told his son that I was a 10/10 in looks. The son then looked at me for a few seconds and said, "No, probably more like a seven." Thanks a lot. FML

Today while at my job as a store clerk, I walked by a family. I smiled at their little boy, who responded by flipping me off. As I was walking away, I looked back in time to catch his dad give him a high-five. FML

Today, at my work, I was ringing though a kid's purchase. I try to be friendly with the kids and when he handed me his cash I said "Thank you, sir!" in a playful manner. He then turns to his mom and says "Mom, why does everyone think I am a boy?". FML

Today, at Jiffy Lube, a woman and her 4 year-old son were waiting at the checkout counter. As I walk by them, her son mistakes me for his father and holds my hand. The woman immediately grabs her son's wrist, looks at me, and says, "Sicko." FML

Today, I was ringing a lady up at the register. I noticed her son was doing the peepee dance, so I rushed the payment process up and handed her the receipt. The little boy says "Mommy" and the mom looks down, then back up at me saying, "Your problem now" and walks out. The boy peed on the floor. FML

Because a 3 year old totally understands the meaning of the word "pretty"... He would have gone to the same person if his dad had used any other adjective because it's likely the only word he understands is 'give.' If I was you I'd be much more focused on the fully grown adult calling me attractive than the brat.

i actually laughed out loud at this. it's not a big deal, it was a 3 year old. i actually found this pretty adorable hahaha. but sorry anyways to the OP at least the dad was nice.

no, don't say "well at least the guy thinks you're pretty" because obviously the dad was just being nice. if the 3-year-old kid knew damn well that you're not pretty, then you're definitely not pretty.

hmm....obviously the kid prefers or . Congratulations, you lost a beauty contest in the mind of a 3 year old whose criteria we may never know. I disagree that a 3 year old would't understand words like pretty....at 3, MOST kids have a pretty good working vocabulary even if they're not good at saying the words yet. In the mean time, did you hook up with the dad?
