Today, my friend was complaining about how fat she was. To make her feel better I said, "Psh, you're not fat! In fact we're about the same weight!" She looked at me for a second, then burst into tears sobbing, "I'm fat! I'm fat!" FML

Today, I finished a ballet class with a group of seven-and-unders. Afterwards, a new student's mother came up to me and thanked me, saying she was glad that her daughter had a "role model with a, ahem, fuller figure" and "not to worry about my weight." I have never thought I was fat before. FML

if she is a thin girl: Tell her that she has a lot of balls for a skinny girl. Not a lot of confidence, either if she's going to say that to you. if she is a heavy girl: Tell her that confidence isn't determined by your pants size and pitty her for being so pathetic. if he is a thin guy: Thank him and don't make a big deal out of it. He is probably attracted to you. if he is a heavy guy: depends. If he's insulting your weight, tell him that he has high standards for a fat guy. If he's sincerely impressed by your esteem, consider that seeing a heavy person with confidence, especially a woman, may be a source of confidence and support for him. They might be sincerely inspired by you and just have diarrhea of the mouth.
