Today, I’m at a water park with my kids and their two friends. We all just got back from vacation where I got to see my wife every day. Now she’s back at work, and I won’t see her during the day. I go back to work tomorrow. For now, I’m at this park, bored as fuck, and lonely as hell. FML

Today, my wife, who I haven’t seen for over a month because we both travel a lot for work, got home. The last thing she said to me was that she couldn't wait to get home because she just wants some alone time. FML

Today, my wife packed the kids up and left for Idaho. I found a letter saying that she misses her paranoid schizo dad and brother, and that she misses me when I'm at work, but can't stand me when I'm home. She is now 1700 miles away, and I'm here alone. FML

Today, I went to the waterpark and my kids were fighting so I grounded them both. We concluded the day by boogey boarding on a mechanical wave. There was so much water I didn't realize my boobs had completely fallen out of my bikini. As revenge, my kids didn't tell me. FML

Today, our kids left for the weekend so that my wife and I could have some much-needed alone time. We've been fighting a lot recently and really need some time to have fun together. Now it turns out that she doesn't want to be around me because of the fighting. FML

I can tell you love your wife/best friend dearly. That is AWESOME! Yes it stinks when you can't be together. Do you schedule date nights with her? Life is hectic, especially when you both work and care for your kids. MAKE the time to be together. This comes from my 27 year marriage. You will not regret making time. Just take care if you are not planning on more kids... get a baby sitter juat so you 2 can go sit in the park and do nothing together.

Welcome to the joys of parenthood, pal. At this point in your life sacrifices have to be made. One sacrifice you can make is spending money on a babysitter and taking your wife away for a long weekend.
