More whine?

Today, my parents came back from their holiday and were constantly asking about "the girl I had over". They thought so because of the two wine glasses in the dishwasher. I didn't have anyone over. I just got drunk two nights in a row and was too lazy to clean the first one. FML

Hey guy and girls, OP here. As someone mentioned drinking age is different in Germany. Roughly speaking: Beer and Wine at the age of 16, the hard stuff at 18. So don't worry about me being an underage drinker ;) they probably thought so since i had someone over before, when they were gone, but always told them. They're cool with it though. Also i definitely do not have an alcohol problem. Actually i rarely drink at all. These were just two nights in a row on which i enjoyed sitting outside, looking at the sunset, listening to music and drinking a glass or two of wine. So i didn't even get drunk. Concerning the drink from the bottle tip: rest assured it will be taken into consideration for the next time :D

Don't knock masturbation, it's sex with someone you love.

Why bother with a glass at all? Drink from the bottle and no washing needed ;)

I'm sure you kept Rosie Palms busy as your parents left you home alone.

You are old enough to get drunk but still live at home? Maybe they are giving you a hint....

OP's in Germany. Drinking ages are different there.

I'm old enough to drink, but I'll be moving back home for an indeterminate number of years because the degree I'm getting gets so busy, you can't work to pay for rent.

Gonna guess your between sixteen and eighteen- would makes sense as to why you can drink but are home alone. Best to just tell them that you drank two nights in a row, especially if you are showing any other signs of alcohol addiction. Earlier it's caught, the easier it will be to stop.

So... one glass of wine per evening is 'addiction' now? O.o

For some reason I thought that OP had gone through an entire bottle of wine on both nights, which is excessive amounts of drinking. They've said that isn't the case, however statistically, the younger you start drinking the more likely you are to develop an addiction.

just because someone likes to drink, doesn't mean they have a problem.

Now you know how they think. When you do have someone over, make sure to leave only one glass in the machine.

Yet another reason it's best to drink from the bottle.
