Today, I was ringing up a lady and her daughter at the shoe store I work at. The background on my nametag is a rainbow, and when the daughter saw it, she asked her mother why it was so. Her mother looked at my nametag, then me, then turned to her daughter and said, "Because he hates God, honey". FML

Today, I was walking through the store when I saw a little boy point to me and say something to his mom. I was out of earshot at the time, but I got close enough just in time to hear the mom reply, "God says we have to love everyone, even if they're ugly." FML

Today, a woman stopped me and started chewing me out for wearing a pentagram necklace. I explained to her that is wasn't a pentagram, it was a Star of David. She continued chewing me out because apparently that still means I hate Jesus. FML

Today, I wore a t-shirt that had a rainbow-ish multicolored design when I went to drop off my daughter at school. Another parent threatened to “call the authorities” on me for wanting to “poison” children with “f**got memorabilia,” and to “stop pushing my agenda” on them. I’m a straight dude. FML

Today, I brought my daughter to work with me. When we walked in, a client was blowing up at my boss, all because as my boss was walking past his storage unit, he glanced in and was about to compliment how neat it was. After my boss left, I had to deal with the aftermath, which left my daughter terrified of this man. FML

Today, as I was bagging groceries, I looked down to see a 6-year-old urinating on my shoes and the floor next to me. I told his mother that he should take her kid to the restroom, only to be told to "mind my own goddamn business." I was later fired for arguing with the customer. FML

Today, a shifty customer came in to my store and was hanging around for about 30 minutes. Apparently, he took that time to put religiously-motivated anti-abortion notes into each and every pair of socks. In the following hours, I had 17 angry returns and was personally threatened twice. FML

Homosexuals are everywhere in religious history, so there's no reason why God would look down on them angrily. The problem is the Church, controlling the people to think that this is bad. Religion REALLY clouds a person's view of the world and often prevents progress. Makes me mad...

Hey. I was reading the comments about people saying not to "believe" leviticus. But it also says that Homosexuality is a sin in the new testement. In Romans to be more exact. A lot of the old testiment laws, the old covenant, as it was called, was cancled out when Jesus died on the cross. Homosexuality is still considered sinful after that. now saying that, no sin is greater than any other sin, and only God can judge people. I have no ill feelings towards gays/lesbians, and this woman was pretty high up on her horse to make a judgement like that to her impressionable daughter. I do believe it's wrong of her, but I can't judge her any more than anyone else.
