Today, I boarded a trans-Atlantic flight by myself, and struck up a nice conversation with the passenger across the aisle. Before we even took off, the man in front of me unbuckled, stood to face me, and asked me to please shut the hell up. "It's a 9 hour flight, and you're VERY loud!" FML

Same thing different taste

Today, I was on a three hour flight to Los Angeles for a corporate meeting. The woman next to me instantly fell asleep and snored louder than a freight train, while the kid behind me made a hobby of thashing my seat from behind. When I peered over and asked him to stop, he spat in my face. FML

Today, I was on a red-eye flight, and the woman beside me was chattering loudly to her friend. I opened my laptop and got to work. Suddenly, one of the women turned to me and told me that the clicking of my keyboard was too loud. She then called me an "inconsiderate, selfish bitch." FML

Today, I was on a long-haul flight, desperately trying to sleep. My husband next to me started snoring so loudly, I swear he was vibrating the seat. In a dazed, half-asleep state, I leaned over and hissed, “Shut up!” It wasn’t him. It was the guy next to him. He woke up and looked at me like I was the problem. FML

Today, I got in line for my flight to visit a friend in England. My mom was there to see me off, and decided to shout "No sex!" while waving, in front of at least a hundred people who will very likely be sharing the transatlantic flight with me. FML

Today, a woman strapped her 8-year-old son into the seat next to me on a transatlantic flight. Thinking they'd been unable to book seats together, I offered to swap seats with her. She said she'd booked it this way intentionally, because he's a "fucking brat" on flights. She was right. FML

Today, I was at the airport walking around, killing time. There was a man about twenty years older than me who kept on eyeballing me, and it really wasn't flattering. I get on the plane and guess who I get to sit next to. FML

Today, after years of wonderful flying experiences, I boarded a flight and took my seat only to find a baby sitting in front of me, behind me, and to the right of me, and across the aisle from me. All of whom decided to cry in unison. It was a 9-hour flight. FML

Today, I was sat next to a screaming baby on a 9-hour flight. Now before anyone has a go at me, I am in no way blaming the baby, I’m blaming the mother with her makeup hair and nails done perfectly, with her AirPods on, staring at her phone, and ignoring her screaming child the full 9 hours. FML

Ok, here's the thing I really like what 156 has to say, and after bein bored enough and havin no life for the day till I go to work, he (I think he's a he) is right, and by having an iq of 150 you wouldn't want to be on fml makin up shit and starting things with people over something this stupid, also, its really hard to believe it when (I don't think you realize) how amazing it is to have an iq that high! And as a child you would have been a prodigy or skipping grades, or you would be like einstein and totally fail classes because you were so bored, I don't exactly know why that statistic as you call it describes you, unless you want to describe yourself as a pompous bitch. Its ok to not have an iq of 150 because I highly doubt you do, because I doubt you'd befriend anyone with an iq of 157 because yall would tear eachother apart, because studies show it would be really hard to be friends with someone smarter than you if you were truly that smart, and like 156 said I don't think you will ever amount to more than einstein or darwin for petes sake, and if you were truly that intelligient you would be in mensa, with a good job trying to figure out new theories or sciences, not sitting on fml like poor pathetic me, or any of the rest of us, bored with our lives and wantin to get a good laugh in before work. OMG, as a frequent long distant flyer I think you were totally justified. you only have to stay quiet when the lights are dimmed. Did he want you to die of boredom? Warning to everyone out there, if you yell at me for talking on a flight, I will dress you down for being an ignorant, selfish asshole... and you will have my bony knees in your back all flight. Buy a seat in first class if you want to be with snobs. I hope you showed them up!!!
