Power line tech is dangerous that's why you get paid the big Money just don't be stupid
I would say he's just kidding around, but seeing as how this involves being electrocuted on the slightest mistake, well...
At least he was honest...
I'd say you'll probably be fine. He seems to have gotten a good first impression and if we may suspect that you don't die you'll probably keep the job.
haha, just messing with you.
Hopefully he was just being hard on the new guy and you'll be fine
Ha!
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it was just his ****** up way of making sure you're careful out there? I mean, a power line technician can be a dangerous job if you don't exercise caution and follow all the rules. Sure, that's a ****** up thing to say to someone, especially on their first day, but I'm sure you'll be exceptionally careful now, right? I say just brush it off, hope for the best, DO YOUR BEST, and try your hardest to be the best and safest employee he has =) Good luck, OP!
Psh, no wonder she hasn't taken you to see him since you were 4. Creepy old man.
You're kinda commenting on the wrong FML... This is the beware-of-electrocution FML, not the grandpa one.
Be safe!
"On another note, welcome to the crew!"
