Today, I had to say, "Put away your burrito," "That ruler is not a lightsaber," and, "Stop making dog noises" all in the same sentence at work. I teach Advanced Placement Calculus to high school seniors. FML

Am I to assume that according to the OP, if taking advanced classes in school, you are not allowed to have fun at all?

As long as they're making decent grades, why do you care whether they're having fun in your class? AP kids have to deal with the stress somehow. I myself am considering bringing a waffle maker and such to school one day and making waffles during lunch.
