oh man I am so sorry, what a big fat error. But this reminds me of an episode of friends where Bruce Willis (Mr Stevens) was playing the father of Ross student/girlfriend and Rachel accidentally tells Mr Stevens about Ross' three marriages!!

Well if you guys haven't known each other long enough for this to not make a difference in whether or not you stay together, then maybe you shouldn't have her meeting your family yet. Your dad did the right thing in filling her in, imo.
