Today, my boss made me cover for him by working two extra hours, because he had to rush home early to deal with an "emergency". The emergency was taking a shit, because he claims to have a phobia of doing them anywhere but at home. FML

Frankly, I know how he feels, especially if he once accidentally clogged the toilet before his cute co worker went in afterwards... FML

It is not at all uncommon to feel uncomfortable using a public washroom. If I can avoid pooping in a place, where I have to sit for a while and have no idea who sat there before me.. not to mention the inconvenience of stinking up the place or even worse, making noises while there are other people around..

Quitting the job because of this, I am assuming, one-time incident would be a bit melodramatic. Ot would be awkward to explain to a future employer why you left this job. "Well, my boss took a long time to shit and that was it. I couldn't handle take it anymore."

He's probably not alone in that...American Pie...

Would you rather he shat on your desk -- like a BAWS!?

I believe #18 is suggesting staging a coup and wresting control of the company from his unfit boss. I hope so, otherwise the comment is moronic.

He told you about his phobia, at least he's honest...... unless he was lying to you because he just didn't want to work. Don't worry OP karma will reward you ^^

I hate using public restrooms when I have to take a crap. But if I absolutely have to go. I find the supply closet and bleach that sucker before I use it.

I used to pull extra hours covering for a co worker to go street racing. Now I see he was stupid but grey it was extra money

Welcome to the Internet, where everyone is rude. :)
