Today, my boyfriend said he OD’d twice because of me, got sober because of me, and is done “trying.” I bought him a car yesterday and he hasn’t paid rent or bills in almost two years. FML

I have one word for this relationship - toxic. Seriously, the guy's got an obvious drug problem and you buy him a car?? That is NOT your responsibility, and if you keep doing such elaborate things, he's just going to continue to take advantage of you. I'd kick him to the curb and take the car back.
