Today, my toddler puts me in time-out because I didn't clean the dishes. Yesterday I got a time-out for forgetting to wash his favorite shirt. I want him to learn all actions have consequences for everyone, so I have to go along with it. FML

uhh no you don't. maybe instead of raising a tiny dictator who is only learning that if he says someone didn't do something that he can discipline them, you should instead be teaching him to be helpful around the house. like can you help me dry the dishes so it's less work for me or put your clothes in the washing machine or hamper. (My 2yo loves load in and changing machines over)

Um, no. Turn around and put HIM into timeout for trying to boss you around.
