Today, my grandmother patched up my $300, vintage, limited edition, designer jeans because she thought I'd accidentally ripped them. FML

well thats what you get for buying $300 jeans.

Maybe now you can reflect on how absurd it is to spend $300 on Jeans that are ripped, simply because they are "trendy"...

I never understood this trend. We poor people with common sense spend money on cheap things and save up to buy something amazing, in my case a DeLorean.

Wow your such a douche u deserve that i can get lots of jeans for 300$ and i bet u wear ed hardy shirts with the fake diamonds haha u ******* douche bag!

Wow you are a ******* idiot for buying that jeans in the first place.

Ok all of you need to chill and stop yelling at this poor girl. It's her money and if she wants to spend it on ripped jeans she can. And it sucks that they are now ruined, no I don't blame her grandma because she was just trying to be nice but it still sucks. So guys stop flipping out that she bought expensive jeans.

Normally if people want to be stupid and spent insane amounts of money on clothes I don't care. But seriously.... I don't understand the whole "ripped jeans looks good" thing. And paying 300 bucks for ripped jeans? I agree with #49 about the grandmother not understanding why new jeans are ripped. As for the person saying people like me are jealous.... why on earth would I be jealous of someone buying destroyed pants? Another note about destroyed pants: I saw a pair being sold in a designer store. I also saw the same ones on a girl in my school. The rips in them were so high and so big that when she walked, I had to look away so I wouldn't see her panties. However even though personally I think it was a waste to buy them in the first place, I do feel sorry your jeans were... um... "ruined".

It's funny coz your grandma has more taste than you.

Vintage AND Designer AND Pre-ripped? Doubt it...it could happen but I think it's more likely the OP doesn't know what vintage means. And if you do and you are a tool enough to pay 300 dollars for a pair of acid wash Gloria Vanderbilt jeans that have somehow stood up to 20+ years of wear I wouldn't go around telling people that either.

You deserve it for spending $300 on a pair of jeans.
