Today, for my two month anniversary, my boyfriend surprised me with a "present". He then lifted his pant leg. He had carved my initials into his leg with a knife. FML

Ummmm, although the thought is nice, I think a tree or a rock would have been a more aproprate canvas. I think I would really worrie about dating a guy that carves himself.

you need to learn the definition of "anniversary" it's an ANNUAL recurring event. Annual meaning yearly. 2 months ≠ anniversary. Also, it's not simply "my anniversary" it's "our anniversary" you're not the only one in the relationship. Your boyfried may have a mental disorder, but you're the one who needs to grow up. Oh, and buy a dictionary.

um you're kind of an idiot and have no life if thats what your response to this is....yikes

LOL at the person who typed like, a whole essay up there. *thumbs up* I would leave. I don't care how awesome he is. People who self-inflict pain are not normal in my opinion...

The instant I finished reading this, I snickered loudly. Your boyfriend's a lunatic! XDDD

that's not healthy you should split as fast as possible.

YDI for celebrating your two-month "anniversery." Seriously, at that point you're just mining for presents, and boy did you get one.

damn, why does everyone think he's crazy? I think that's kinda cute. I mean it's not completely normal, but normal is so boring. I doubt he's dangerous. And YDI for posting this as a FML.

#162 Writing a sweet letter = cute. Buying/making a romantic little gift = cute. Carving their names into a tree or something = tree abuse, but still kind of cute. Carving her name into his leg = creepy. Not cute. Doing that at all, let alone after only two months, is just strange. It didn't work for Mark Wahlberg in Fear, and it usually doesn't work well in real life. I guess everyone's idea of "cute" is different though. And it's fine as an FML, since the site says that an FML is "a shitty moment that ruins your day," or something along those lines.
