You do know brides can be just as bad if not worse?... There are so many out there who lash out at EVERYONE around them: frieds, relatives, suppliers (dress, food, venue, photographer). Weddings are incredibly stressful for everyone involved so while what he said was a dick move, as long as they talk about it like adults they should be fine. Unless he really is getting cold feet or something.

If this is his regular attitude then don't think for a second it will change once you get married. This kind of thing usually stays with them. In any case talk to him about it, and he has to apologise to you and your friend no matter what!

correct me if I am wrong but isn't your family paying for the wedding since the Bride usually pays for the wedding and even if you aren't that is a mean thing dump him and find someone who wouldn't care if you were purple
