QuarkGluonPlasma

I've read this forum as a tool of procrastination for some time. Finally got around to making a profile. I am simultaneously in the process of obtaining a mathematics and physics degree, which will later progress to graduate school...you will know nothing else of me... As for my name, QuarkGluonPlasma: this is obviously in the realm of physics. If you accelerate heavy ions (such as gold or lead) to realitivistic velocities, you produce the color glass condensate. When these two ions collide, gluon will spread in the transverse plane, producing quark gluon plasma. A gluon basically holds quarks together by the stron nuclear force...at least that's the simple rundown of the phenomenon... As for my picture, you should know what that is. Or am I placin to much faith in humanity? By the way, you just wasted 20 seconds reading this. Feel good about yourself?
