I think you kind of deserve it for losing the paper, but FYL because your teacher entered the grade wrong. Good luck finding it. Maybe you can reprint the paper (if you saved it) and have your teacher re-grade it?
This is TRULY an FML. A Classic. Damn, this sucks man
I hate teachers like that. I did the state writing asesment and my teacher lost it and all she had to say was "Oops i might've lost it" i was steaming mad
even if you were irresponsible it should never cost you that much!!! 30000 is ridiculous, im so sorry for you!!! theres no way you deserve this!
YDI for not maintaining reasonable grades throughout your college career so you wouldn't be in such a compromising position over one paper.
YDI for not being organized
I REALLY hope you find it !!! (Trying to send good detective-vibes)
With all the comments here about saving it on the computer, doesn't anyone think that maybe he didn't get it from one? o.O When I get a report card, it's a piece of paper. If he did get it from a computer, I think it would be kind of easy to just print out another right? But if it was handed to him, I doubt any of the posters here would have the foresight to scan the paper, save it on the computer, and put it on a disc for future needs. Then again, I'm only a senior in high school.
This is why you save your papers on the computer.
#1: By original, the teacher means the graded copy so that she can verify that the OP isn't BSing her about the wrong grade thing. And, OP, that really sucks. I hope you find it.
