Maybe he was having a bad day himself and found this stupid.
OP- you were having a bad day, you were perfectly within your rights to look to your relationship to cheer you up. Your boyfriends response, no matter how annoyed he was, shows such a huge lack of respect for you. No one should speak to you that way, least of all someone who supposedly loves you.
YDI for being too needy this obviously isn't the first time you've done this
Even if she was fishing for compliments how can you justify a crude response from a significant other? It wouldn't have hurt him if he simply called her and said something like "If your asking me that, than what is the problem?" Or if she was doing it too frequently he could have politely sat down and spoke to her rather than responding via txt. I am not taking sides, both were silly, the gf should have told her bf she needed cheering up (not via txt) and the bf should not have acted like an ass hole, through a txt message, regardless of the situation .
Dude maybe he just wants the same thing out of you and you're not giving it to him stop being so selfish and needy
Why do women ask stupid questions like this? What the **** did you expect? YDI.
YDI. In all honesty, that IS a really dumb thing to request. And I'm a female too.
You picked the wrong boyfriend. Though, if you just texted and said "Why do you love me?" without any explanation, that would piss anyone off.
well clearly you fish for compliments all the time
