I think this goes back on you OP making sure when she was in school that she was actually doing her homework and asking what she learned everyday. or instead of only leaving it up to the schools to teach your kid teach her things to.

YDI Op, for your daughter being 17 and not knowing what country she lives in. I don't really understand how it's never once came up. Has she been flunking out of school? I suggest you make your kid start reading and studying. Also, what country did she think she lived in? Or did she think your state was a country? Lol. You fail for raising such a dumbass that is going to be a burden on society.
