Today, my wife and i took possession of our first house. The neighbors apparently had a problem with the previous owners and don't think we'll be any different. They keep taking things from our yard and hiding them in drainage ditches nearby. We basically can't live there. FML

Talk to them and find out the problem. If it gets really bad go to the cops.

While I agree that them stealing things from your yard is obnoxious and illegal, it hardly prevents you from living there. Just hook up a security system (or even just a camera in the window) and show the recording to the police the next time they steal something.

Today, my cats started fighting again. Normally, I let them, because it's the only exercise they get. But this time one of my cats sliced the other's nose, and he responded by pinning her and nearly choking her to death. When I ran in to stop them, they teamed up against me. Today, I was nervous about taking my cat to the vet for a UTI, because money’s a little tight. Turns out the antibiotics weren’t that expensive, but he wants at least $1,000 for dental surgery she apparently “needs.” FML

Today, and for the last two weeks, my husband has been playing hide and go seek with the internet router and my iPad to, I guess, try and punish/annoy me. I keep finding them, use them when he’s not home, and put them back. FML
