Um victims of domestic violence still have access to the Internet, why would you think they wouldn't? And if you think this is too extreme and not possible, you obviously have never seen the full extent of domestic violence, it is extreme and this situation is a highly plausible.

my logic is 20 miles from nearest town yet still have service? Maybe its just where i live but internet isn't that reliable. Also it's to extreme for this to not only be real but also for OP to post it on the internet. Seriously call the damn police

Ah, I see what you're saying, I guess internet would depend on their location and what service they're using. I know my Uncle's place is pretty far from the nearest large town, and he still gets service perfectly fine. As for posting it, lots of people share their bad experiences with other people over the Internet. I agree with you on your last point though, call the police, that should be the first priority.

Another possibility is that OP wrote this after they left. Where exactly does it say an FML has to be written the actual date and time the situation happened? I imagine most FMLs are written well after the fact. In fact several OPs comment that their FMLs were written days or even months later.

OP might be making this a while later from when it actually happened- i see a lot of FML authors updating saying that they didn't write the FML directly after the said thing happened
