Content almost refused by staff

Today, the guy I like asked me if it was okay if he asked one of my closest friends on a date. That'd be fine if we hadn't been "talking" and been flirting/going on dates for the past 2 months...FML

It takes two to tango. It's up to the both of you to make your expectations clear. Maybe he thought you were just hanging out as friends in a platonic way? It's a lesson learned for the future that you should clearly communicate your feelings and what you want from a potential significant other.

I agree. Unless both parties are on the same page, you will have this happen again. He may have thought you were just "flirting" for the fun of it. And why did you put the word talk in quotation marks? And unless he said date, he just thought of those "dates" as two close friends spending time together. Make your intentions and interest in the next guy more clear.
