Today, my parents hassled me for wanting to get my tongue pierced, saying it was filthy, unprofessional, and degrading. About an hour later, my sister let slip that my nipple is pierced. FML

Today, I got a nipple piercing. My girlfriend thought I was pranking her with a fake piercing, because I wouldn’t be "daft enough" to get a real one, and she yanked it off, or rather through, my nipple. Yes, it cut my poor nip in half, and I now have two nipples where once I had only one. FML

Today, I've been sitting here for what seems like an eternity listening to my mom ruthlessly grill my sister about a piercing she got. Why don't I just leave, you ask? We're in the ER. My grandma is in the ICU, critically ill. But my sister's piercing is apparently a bigger concern. FML

that sucks...but if you are underage (which i'm assuming you are, since your parents still have say-so in your life), maybe you should wait to get piercings. when I was younger, I had a ton of piercings which I eventually got tired of, and now have a ton of scars...wait till you're 18.

if your old enough to get it pierced legally its time to move out if You want to be that "individual". if your using a fake ID or cheating to get it done then ydi. if you can't handle the consequences then don't do it.

Yeah, some people do talk weird with it. I have one and I talk fine with it. Except for the word "Reese's" when I have a short bar in! My boyfriend's brother picks on me about it all the time. Haha!
