Today, my mother surprised me with a new alarm clock. It's attached to a toy car which races around my room with obnoxious sirens going at full blast until I crawl out of bed and turn it off. She says this will be a regular thing. FML

Damn that sucks. I completely understand. I'd suggest finding a decent job and getting away from the crazy. It was the best thing I ever did. Ear plugs & a box fan (to drown noise) will be your best friends. I had parents that'd use the riding lawn mower right outside my bedroom window. Apparently 6am was the only time they felt was "okay" to mow the lawn. There were many days where I worked till midnight and wouldn't get home till almost 1am.
