Tell him you don't have a relationship where you'll honor him at all for Father's Day. Sounds like your husband is a bit of a dick.
I can tell you from experience this man is emotionally abusive. I've been there. You might not want to hear this now, and it might take you a long time to realize it. It took me 10 years to stop making excuses. I've been out of the relationship 6 months and I'm happier than I've ever been. It's waiting out there for you too
He's a mofo. Get out before it gets wore.
Leave him OP. I think he is one of those people who only sees someone who brings home the bacon as worthy.
Well you aren't his mother but he should still appreciate you for being a mother to your children
My mom always used to tell us she wasn't getting anything for Dad because "he's not MY dad". However, she would ask us what we were doing and help us coordinate things. She never just checked out. Maybe tell your husband that it's really difficult for kids to do things like give their mother breakfast in bed. Or else you could make a Mom's Wishes list every year that they can pick from. If it's something like "wake up to breakfast and a clean kitchen" he's likely going to have to help. Maybe he won't get you something like a card or a necklace but oh well.
He is just a shitty husband.
