Today, my girlfriend of almost a year, broke up with me. I refused to have sex before marriage, and she replaced me with a guy that would. I really thought our relationship was going well. FML

It doesn't say that she cheated, it says that she dumped him to date a guy who could fulfill her needs. You can certainly be romantic without sex, but it's naive to expect that the majority of people are ok with a non-sexual romantic relationship in the longterm.

Well now you know. Sex is an important part of most romantic relationships and it is unreasonable to expect someone to stay in a romantic relationship without sex.

Since one can be romantic without sex, sorry to hear about that. However she's a cheater and not worth your time anymore... Move on
