Today, my dad is mad at me because I've been dating a boy who I've asked him to meet but he refuses because he's automatically a bad guy for no reason. According to him, "I've destroyed my family" and am a horrible daughter. Let's keep in mind I'm almost 20. FML

Parent's are never satisfied with the partners their kids choose no matter how old they are. Mine are unhappy with the woman I chose because of hearsay and rumours even though they have never met her. They say I'm blinded by love. I know that she's a good person and sweet and fun, and all my friends agree with me. They still aren't happy and won't believe a word I say of good about her. So from someone in similar similar shoes, don't feel bad. Just hope and pray that one day they'll see your partner through your eyes.
