Content almost refused by staff

Today Im super exhausted and on my period so I put a tampon in like normal. I was super uncomfortable and way more crampy than usual but think too much of it. I didn’t realize until I got home from work to take a shower that I actually had two tampons in... FML

Yikes. Be careful about that, it puts you at elevated risk for toxic shock syndrome. That said, from what I understand, this is more common than people think. Maybe as a general rule of thumb, if things don't feel comfortable, go check down there?
