Today, I went to see a specialist doctor. He began by checking my heart and breathing which required lifting my shirt up which he then saw my tattoo. He then stated that tattoo removalists will be making the big bucks when tattoos are no longer cool. What the hell? FML

Tattoos have been used as a fashionable body modification all around the world since as far back as 3000BC. At this point it's safe to say that they aren't just a "fad." Tattoos are more popular than they've ever been because society is becoming more accepting of them, so I have a feeling they won't fade anytime soon, since that acceptance is only growing. Also, maybe tats do get more popular sometimes and fade in popularity other times, but often for the individual, their tattoos are meaningful and important to them, so they probably wouldn't want a removal.
