Today, I was mugged. I saw a cop car in the aftermath and flagged it down. Unfortunately, when the cops stopped the mugger, he said he'd been running away because I tried to mug him. Apparently the fact that he was "well-dressed" and I wasn't means he was telling the truth. FML

It makes no sense to judge based on how well-dressed somebody looks though. It's easy to buy expensive clothes when you're stealing other people's money, look at any politician.

I'm a cop and when people say that it kind of makes me reconsider why I care. I've had friends die and friends get injured for life and it's still just a joke to everyone. People are so quick to judge Police officers when in reality we are just people too and a lot of us actually do care about helping people.

I really hope you're suing the cop on that one! He should have checked inside the wallet for identification and he should have checked for weapons. That's a cop that needs to lose his badge and gun!
