So.. Put your child back in the car-seat I sure hope you own, undo your own seatbelt if it's still attached, and lean over to the driver's side to turn the lights off? OR! Or, - and here's a crazy idea! - get your lazy ass out of the car and walk around to the driver's side to turn them off? You don't even need to release your spawn for that! I didn't know we needed a step by step here to figure this out. Especially if you're old enough to harbor a child. Where's the YDI button on this FML?
Amen
Odds are Op was breast feeding which means putting him/her back in the seat isn't really an option due to him/her not being done and he/she would flip the hell out. And I'm sure some feeding mother doesn't want to get out of her car, walk around an obviously crowded garage and turn some lights off while feeding her child. Your logic is based off of her bottle feeding. She could have done that in the store with her husband.
I don't think, breast feeding or not, that taking literally about thirty seconds to resolve an irrationally easy "issue" would cause the temper tantrum of all temper tantrums. And if this woman was breast feeding, again, this "issue" is so incredibly minor that I really don't even think it warrants an FML. The lights OUTSIDE the car are on, so what? They're not spotlighting her tit feeding her kid. She could've rolled the windows down a smidge, especially seeing as she's in an underground (where it's much cooler), and turned the car off until she was done feeding. There are several ways around this situation that clearly weren't thought of, which is why I stand by this being a YDI.
