Today I was going to propose to my gf of 9 years. Supposed to be a good day. My 4000 dollar computer melted due to fan malfunction, warranty ended two months ago. I have stumped my toes twice, got punched in the face by a guy trying to avoid a bug, and my gf left me for another guy. FML

Nine years before you considered proposing? Maybe that's why she looked elsewhere. It sucks that she obviously was cheating, cuz that's unforgivable, but can't really blame her for leaving though.

Today, my mom, who still refuses to get a mobile phone, was late coming home, so I was sent to buy dinner. Dad wanted seafood. I picked it up and returned, only to find Mom was already back with McDonald's. Dad insisted we eat that, despite my protests and MY money I'd spent on HIS request. I made sure Mom saw the Verizon ads. FML

Today, I did slightly below average on my programming project. Aside from it being unnecessarily difficult, I also couldn't focus on it due to problems at home. After I confided in my colleague about it, I heard him mutter, "I knew women were crappy programmers". FML

Today, I was at the gas station pumping gas when the lady in front of me had a little boy who asked if he could pump the gas. She said yes and then quickly answered her phone, as it was ringing. She wasn't watching him and he pulled out the pump to early, spraying gas all over me, including my face. FML
