Today, I was excited about finally getting approved for 150$/week of unemployment (since nobody will hire me despite me having a Master's degree.) Then I learned my ex is leaving his gf and quitting his job and will not be paying the 157$/week in child support. And my kids lose health insurance. FML

You can take that up to court, failure to pay child support is a punishable offense

he can decide not to pay but he does not have a choice. if it is court ordered child support he has to pay it, job or no job. go back to court if you have to.

Today, I went to pick up my paycheck at the convenience store I work at. While there, two frat boys came in and bought seventeen 30 packs of beer. That comes to about $300. They spent more at the store in one day than I get paid in two weeks. FML
