Today, I spent another day over 2,000 miles away from all of my friends and family because my selfish boyfriend feels like he's "too good for that place". He also doesn't understand why I'm lonely and want his attention, so instead he plays online games with friends from home all day. FML

Ah, this might seriously be a sign to his true colors, OP. If he's disregarding the fact that you're lonely and also feels like he's too superior to live wherever you hail from originally, then, well...it might be time to do some very, very serious thinking about what this all might mean.

Today, during an endless heat wave, I sat at my local pub having a beer. I was delighted as a cool sea breeze started to come through. I was less delighted when the sea breeze picked up and blew cigarette ash onto my sweaty face and into my mouth. FML

Today, I went to chill with my best guy friend and his girlfriend, whom I recently met after I moved to the area. After a few beers, my buddy leaned over and tried to make out with me. I quickly backed up and shockingly looked over at his girlfriend to expect the same reaction. She winked. FML

Today, I tried to make popcorn in the microwave but forgot to remove the plastic wrapper. The kitchen filled with smoke, the fire alarm went off and my neighbors came knocking to see if I was alright. When they asked what caused it, I had to admit that it was “Erm… popcorn.” FML
