Content almost refused by staff

Today, I spent 13 hours plus the last 2 days scrubbing down my house for my dad who was coming to visit. The first thing he said to me when he came in was," You missed a spot" and pointed to a streak that he made with his own hand on the doorknob.

I've got a parent like this. It's nice that you still talk to him, I hope he doesn't mess with your head too badly. I would stop trying to please him since he'll never be satisfied.

I hope this isn't a frequent thing, because behavior like this, if am sustained for long enough, CAN trigger mental and emotional disorders, from mild anxiety to straight up psychosis. Not gonna tell you to run or drop him but... Family safely?
