That sucks and it makes one wonder why that guy is still your partner. But still.... if you were that sick, couldn't the cleaning wait for one more day? I mean, it's never THAT urgent that you have to do it when you are so sick you can't do anything without throwing up.
Apparently I'm good at forgetting my log in details. But OP here! After a long firm talking to with my partner, he did end up cleaning up his act (and the house!) so no need for kicking him out as some people have suggested lol. As for why I didn't wait a few days to clean, we wouldn't really have any dishes to eat from if I hadn't. On top of that I'm unable to deal with mess very well, it can literally keep me up at night and cause me to obsess over it. Wouldn't consider myself as OCD, just a bad clean freak. The comments have definitely giving me a good laugh and loving the support!
Hope you're feeling better. Can I make a suggestion that if you're someone who gets anxious over neatness, it's better to be a minimalist? It might make your life a lot easier.
Lump on a log dude aside...I admire your discipline but in such instances just so you know it's okay to not have the house perfectly clean for a couple of days.

Stick a clothespin on his scrotum. No but seriosuly, he's an ass. Big red flag there if theyre not even willing to help you when youre sick.
Time for a new partner I think.
